William COLLINS - Help please!

Hello all 
This is probably a stupid question, but I'd appreciate some advice if possible please.  I am back to a marriage on 14 SEP 1647 St Mary Hitchin, between William Collins & Jane Kidley.  I've guessed William's y.o.b as c1620.

There's only 3 records shown on the IGI dates c1580 to 1606. Where do I go from here ?

Dont guess!

He could be anything from 16 - 90, first second or umpteenth marriage.

ANd remember though he married in a particular place, he could have been born ANYWHERE!

Congrats on getting do far back.

Check for original parish records or "Bishops" transcripts

Sometimes there is information in the records thats not in the IGI
