Anne Walsh

I am looking for the birth/baptisimal cert of Anne (Annie) Walsh. As far as I know she was born in Arran Street in about 1874/75.Am I right in thinking that she would have been baptised at St.Pauls Arran Quay??But their records are not on IrishGeneology. Her fathers name was John..Any ideas please....?

Family Search have extracted Irish births 1864-c1881 (not complete but fairly good coverage) but with a common surname like Walsh and not haveing the mother's name it will probably be impossible to confirm any possible matches.

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I was already on family search and as you say it's not easy to locate a person with such a common name and no mothers name. I suppose the only way is to take a gamble and start getting the certs for each Anne Walsh

Rather difficult as you probably have to include variants of Anne such as Ann, Annie, Nancy, Agnes, Hannora, Hannah, etc.

If Arran Street is correct then this looks like a very likely baptism except father called Patrick not John:

Could be, but she married in 1893,so could be too young to marry then

I found she was born in Arran Street from prison records. She married James Carr in 1893 in St Marys COI.
She is in the 1901&1911 census

Yes this is her marriage certificate. But unfortunately it doesn't state her mothers name
