For the strong arms of Jesus enfold her,
And with Him she will sorrow no more.
She sleeps in Jesus and is blessed,
How sweet her slumbers are,
From suffering and from sin set free,
And freed from every snare.
“We shall meet beyond the river”.

Hilary, delighted to hear that all my transcribing was in vain! Grea that you found something, thanks for letting me know.

Maureen, is this the marriage?

3 Oct 1866, West Wycombe
William DUDLEY, aged 24, Bachelor of Village, Chairmaker son of John Clough Dudley, Turner
Ann BENNELL, aged 28, Spinster of Village daughter of Robert Bennell, Turner
Witnesses Charles Thos Davey Sarah Bennell
by Banns

Ok I think I can place Ann Bennell. She was the daughter of Robert Bennell and his wife, Sarah (a school mistress?). I can't find her baptism but her father was born on 29 Mar 1825 and bap 10 Apr 1825 at Bledlow, Bucks, son of James & Mary Bennell. James was son of Robert Bennell and Rebecca Rogers. Robert and Rebecca had a son Edmund in 1810 and he was my gt gt gt gt grandfather.

Hope this helps, I will PM you my email address.
