RICHARDS family from Limpley Stoke Wiltshire

I have been trying to find out more about the Richards family from Limpley Stoke Wiltshire.

I have this information to date.

James RICHARDS baptised 15.08.1742 in Limpley Stoke.

He married Betty    , born ca 1745 in Limpley Stoke. (Year not known )

They had at least on child, Henry RICHARDS baptised 06.03.1791 and died 26.06.1860 in Twerton Somerset.

Can you help with any more inromation from the Parish Records for Limpley Stoke

Henry RICHARDS married Elizabeth DEVERELL 13.09.1812 in Hinton Charterhouse Somerset.

Can i ask you to double check your dates,Betty would have been 46 when she gave birth?

I found the entry on FamilySearch

Marriage:- James RICHARDS & Mrs Betty RICHARDS 1789 Limpley Stoke Wiltshire.
James RICHARDS death 5.11.1823

Could it be that Betty is James´ 2nd wife? There was no year of birth for Betty, so that was an error on my psrt

These are all submitted entries so should be treated with caution .  The christening and death have actual dates so are possibly a little more reliable.  The marriage is a "guesstimate"

I  can confirm that James RICHARDS was buried on the 5 Nov 1823 at St Mary's Limpley Stoke Wiltshire. He was aged 82.

I am also looking for the same Limpley Stoke Parish Registers.

I am directly descended from Henry RICHARDS b 1791 Limpley Stoke. He was my 4g Grandfather. He had a son Henry Richards b1820 Freshford, Somerset; who had a son Frederick James b1839 Twerton, Somerset; who had a son Henry James b 1865 Penarth, Wales; who had a son Frederick James b1892 Penarth, Wales; who had a son Alan Hugh b1929 Newport, Mon; who had a son Gareth Huw b1960 Woking, Surrey (Me).

I have many of the original BMD certificates and censuses in this line, but I too am looking for the Parish Registers of Limpley Stoke to go back further. I think they are available print only from the Wilts FHS but I do not have them.
