Apparently the Cutten family owned and/or ran the hotel. Here are some online books (free to view), that mention this family.

Blain Cherry  married Pearl Yvonne Drake...in Elgin
Mabel Cherry married  Charles Herbert Bechtel ...in Waterloo

although I may be wrong again, unless she was just buried under her surname...

Not sure if this was for Jemima....( Mrs Cutten) but she died very young (age 37 - 1859, while Maggie was barely a babe....) ....The Hotel is the "Queen's arms Hotel"

Funny that they mention that...but her forename seems of little importance...   UGH!
