PURLANDS of Beccles? I'm looking for ancestors of Alethia b. 1849

Hi all...I have been having problems finding the Purlands of Beccles for a few years now, mainly for much the same reasons you all have. I am a Coker from (Caroline Purland- Joseph Coker) and yes, you are all right. John Miles was the first marriage (died in 1843 from consumption and then Eliza married James Purland who died in 1849 from Phlegmonous Erysipelas. I have the death and marriage certs and are willing to share with a Purland family.

I also think that Alethia (sp) was Eliza's sister as she was 7years old. On John Miles and Eliza's marriage cert Eliza's surname is listed as Cook, yet her fathers name is listed as Simon Mills. This matches Alethias name in the census as Mills.
