Combumice Street, Liverpool ?
« on: Tuesday 19 August 14 18:23 BST (UK) »
I have a memoir from a relative in which he states that his family home was on Combumice Street, Liverpool. This would be dating around 1850-1870 period. I've tried to locate this street but have been unable; perhaps he was misspelling this street name. Any suggestions.

Thanks

There are TWO Combermere street in Liverpool
one in Toxteth - The Globe pub is on the corner - Liverpool 8
one in Wavertree - Liverpool 15

what is the Parish on 1881 census ??...I would think Toxteth

as you can see - the majority of the houses demolished and replaced by new ones and is now a dead end ...it used to go down to the water front / dock area ....
