Would be much better if there was an actual map and not just the parish outline.
The outline doesn't tell you what places are actually in the parish and what places aren't

Hi Fergie.  John Thomson's Atlas of Scotland, 1832 shows the parishes outlined and the towns and villages etc., contained within them.

Good to finally see an exact outline for the parish of Kincardine and the parish of Balquhidder with all its old place names is going to a great help.

I noticed today that Scotlandspeople now have a way to search your timeline, via map. It is excellent. It helped me to locatea place in Paisley, that I thought was in Barrhead.
