Hugh O' Hare, moved to Fife area approx 1929
« on: Sunday 13 July 14 18:08 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am trying to find any information on my Grandfather who I believe moved to Kirkcaldy, around 1929.  He was born 1896 and had returned to Coatbridge prior to his death in 1976.
This is all the information I have about him so I am hoping someone may have information on him.
Thanks in advance.

Hallo and welcome to Rootschat.
When you say he returned to Coatbridge does this mean that he was born there?
What about your grandmother? Where did they marry and do you think she also moved to Kircaldy then back to Coatbridge?

Yes that is him.  He left my grandmother and three children and moved to fife to pursue his communist ideals I have always been told.  Contact was never kept with him or any of his family.  I believe they met only once more when my father entered the Army during the war.  We do not know if he had any other family in Fife.  All of his children are now deceased.  Hence this post.

Cannot see any O´Hare children born in Fife after 1929, so if he did have a new family then presumably they did not take his name.
