 :) Hello all, would love help in finding out more about Jane Cantle born around 1720 Lacock Wiltshire she married a Joseph Judd unknown date and burial date also unknown :'( I have searched on various message boards but the dates seem to be varied somehow :-[ Would like to find her parents and family and find the right records. ;)

Where did you get her year and place of birth from?

Good Evening Lizdb ;) I searched the Google web and this web page through Ancestry but their dates don't agree I kept on searching and found her baptism 1720 burial 13/12/1761 and marriage 12/1/1751 to Joseph Judd but still would like to know her parents as I am searching area's around Bristol for a James Cantle born around 1718. Thanks for your help ???

Surely her baptismal record names her parents?

(Sorry, I dont quite follow where James Cantle bn 1718 Bristol fits in?!)

Message Boards are not a source. Other people may be able to give you a lead, but only if they have done proper research themselves. Best to look for original Parish Records, or if someone else comes up with some info, check that they themselves have seen the original parish records before taking any notice of what they say.

Thank you lizdb for your help James Cantle comes in because I am looking for him and having no luck at this stage :'( so I am searching for anything that maybe related to him as he wasn't born in Bristol and when I found Jane Cantle baptism for 1720 I thought that I would try all places around Bristol, its hard for me living so far away and trying to complete this family ???
