Or call Wolverhampton Archives to ask if they already have the register for that year deposited with them?

Given an exact date then it wouldn't be a long search to find the entry, I suppose.

Hi

I have just obtained a marriage certificate for George Molineux and Elizabeth Mealing married on 29 August 1853 that also has the "...solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Bilston" so it was interesting to see your comments. The banns and ceremony were performed by what looks like a SS (or JJ) Slade.

Was there any further results on your investigations on this?

Cheers
