You've posted in Ireland Resources.
Use the Report to moderator to have this moved to Ireland General.
Finding Mc and Mac is not unusual what does seem odd is the family's census
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/King_s_Co_/Broughal/Barnaboy/553226/
1911 as you said
But 1901 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai003885410/
Either she changed her name or isn't home! The mother did have 14 children so one a year wouldn't be surprising.

You can search the Census here
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie

To have the thread moved click on 'Report to moderator' bottom right of what you've written and ask for it to be moved to Ireland General.

What sort of information are you hoping to learn about her?

Hi, and thank you again!! Really wanting a little bit of background on her. What her father did, what she worked at, events leading to her joining the SWH. I know she went out there as a driver, but that is all i have.

regards Alan

From the Census her father was a farmer, and she wasn't working outside the home, (No occupation is given for her) they had in Census terms a 2nd class house, mostly likely stone with a slate roof, Robert owned it, so reasonably comfortable. They also had a general servant.

More that that you would probably need a local historian.
You could try contacting Offaly Historical & Archaeological Society

They may be able to put you in touch with someone.
