Alderney searching, obtaining and accessing records.
« on: Monday 29 July 13 11:33 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

I am visiting Alderney in a few weeks to complete some research on my Ancestors, the Mead Family.  Can anyone advise me how and where I can access records to search for BMDs and then order/purchase certificates.... Can I access the Parish Records at St. Annes, for instance?

Regards

Stew

Hi Stew,

I have had wonderful success obtaining information/documents from St. Anne’s Church in Alderney.  The researcher there is the wife of the current rector, Rev. Mignot and her email address is: Eileen.mignot@cwgsy.net.  She is absolutely amazing at tracking down the documents.

Hi Jennifer

Thanks very much for the info.  I have made contact and am meeting with her when I am over there.. Great news, as she has already found some info I was after.

Kind Regards

Stewart
