Death at Eton Workhouse.

If some one Died in a Workhouse would i still be able to get Death Certificate?

Yes  - but the person registering it will probably be someone from the workhouse and not a family member

It would only give the same details as a normal death certificate
Name/ Age/Date of death/Cause of death/place of death/Informant and their address

Who are you looking for. Where are the family living.

Henry Hussey he died in the workhouse in 1884 i have a book Deaths in Workhouse and it said His Corpse removed by his Daughter so i was hoping it would say her name.

It was good to get that bit of information, shame it didn't name her.  There is always the chance that she was the informant on the death certificate.

It might be worth trying to find out where he was buried and if at a parish church look at those records.  One of my ancestors died in exactly the same circumstances and in the parish records the priest had conveniently named the daughter.

Just thought i would let everyone know i have Henry Hussey Death Certificate a bit disappointed no daughter's name on it so don't think i will be able to find if he was buried.
