Sarah's marriage certificate should list her father's name and occupation. Her birth certificate will list names of both parents. Is Seddon both her maiden and married surname or just her married name?

I can't see a marriage for a William Seddon in Gateshead area in 1887 on FreeBMD. Are you sure of the details?

You'll need to work back step by step through available records if you want to find the family in Ireland.

Sarah's marriage certificate will get you her father's name and occupation which might help you trace her family in English census records. You might also get her mother's Christian name from these records.

Where did you get her birthplace as Markethill?
