I can't be certain on the address.  I was looking at google street view and no specific house rang a bell (things change).  However, I'm pretty sure it was in close proximity to the KCR filling station at kimmage cross;

Is this the school that is referred to in previous posts? National School, Killashandra - photograph taken in the 1950's.

Comparing the photos, it would appear to be the same building as referred to previously.  However, I can't say if this school was referred to as the 'National School'.

Does anyone recognise this photograph? in our album it is described as "Owen's Cottage" - I think it was a gate lodge on a large estate in Killashandra, a few years ago when we went back it was almost still standing.

This is the Manse, Killashandra - where our family lived in the 1930's/1940's they were self sufficient and grew their own vegtables - does anyone remember the Manse?
