Daniel McCloskey in California

Hi all,

Can anyone find Daniel McCloskey who was born in Oct 1878 in Draperstown Ireland and who died at age 48 (1926) in California.  His parents were Michael McCloskey and Margaret McCloskey.

Or his brother Hugh McCloskey who was born in Dec 1880 in Draperstown Ireland and who died in Ohio maybe in his 40s in an Airplane accident.

What have you checked so far, so we don't duplicate your work?  Census?  California or Ohio death records?  Findagrave.com?  Immigration records?

Is there a source for these death dates?  I don't see either showing up as deaths in California or Ohio.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your help.  The death dates have come from an uncle so maybe they are abit out.  birth date is correct as I have confirmed this in the irish records.

Have you found either of them on passenger lists ? Have you checked https://familysearch.org/ ?
