Saturday 31 May 2014 sees the annual Open Day of the Gloucestershire FHS taking place, and as usual, this society will be represented at the event. Traditionally, this is one of the larger society Open Days held in the UK, with a good range of visiting societies, commercial organisations and other stallholders in attendance.
Our stall will have plenty to interest Oxfordshire and North Berkshire researchers, as Hugh and Jean Kearsey and other colleagues will be selling our DVDs, CDs, microfiche and some selected items from our bookstall. In addition, we will have our "Search Services" available on computer, featuring an array of Oxfordshire and North Berkshire indexes to censuses, baptism registers, marriage registers, burial registers and monumental inscriptions. Our team will be happy to search them for your ancestors, or simply to give advice. We'll be delighted to welcome visitors to our stand !
