Would he have been John C Bonarius?

Can you give us any more information? There are quite a few Bonarius entries in the NSW BMD Indexes and the National Archives of Australia.

The person is John Charles Bonarius born c 1833 and married a Margaret Duker in about 1854.  I don't know where they were married or when John emigrated to Australia.

Johns father was Daniel Bonarius born in Germany and married Rebecca (Harding possibly) he served in the Kings German Brigade I have found at least 8 other siblings

I cannot find the birth of Albert in NSW, so maybe he was born before they arrived, or on route!
