William Hawkins (b.c 1842 Drogheda)

William married on 23 December 1863 in Liverpool giving his father as John Hawkins.

He is on the 1861 in Liverpool with parents, John and Jane, and siblings (RG9/2651/99/23).

Could anyone assist in taking the family back?  (the 1901 in Liverpool is the only census that gives his birthplace as Drogheda, every other one just says Ireland)

do you have Jane's maiden name from any of the other children's birth certs ?

What denomination did he belong to as if Church of Ireland (Anglican) - the records for Drogheda are not online but can be accessed through the Representative Church body Library in Churchtown Dublin.
