Erin was a master corporal on his third tour of Afghanistan killed by insurgents in Panjwayi district.
Erin grew up in Kamloops and was based in Edmonton Alberta son of Kathy Mitchell.
Family originally came from Northern Ireland in the 1900's.
I never met him but think of him in this week, when we remember our brave men and women
who serve in the armed forces.
Erin was my cousin.
