Hi
There are two trees on Ancestry that give his parents as James Grieve

and Wilhemina Scott. They don't give his siblings...worth checking out ;D

On the new Family Search site, there are only 3 baptisms

showing for those parents that I can see

James  bapt 1 Aug 1869

Walter bapt 6 Sep 1867

Isabella Hogg bapt 22 Dec 1863

All showing as baptised at Makerston Roxburgh

Modified to add... I can't readily see baptism or birth for Thomas

There is nothing on Scotlandspeople either but I see in 1911 he says born in Roberton which can also come under Roxburghshire.  I agree scott for his probable mother's name as he gave that as a middle name to at least two children but can't pick him up on the census.  Some born in Berwickshire but not Rox or Selkirkshire.

James and Margaret at Roberton have been mistranscribed as Green in the 61 at Borthwickbrae but children with them are

Mary Scott 11
James 9
Christian 6
George 3
John 9month.

No Thomas
