Hi,
Edward Davies lived in Back Long Row, Abernant ,Aberdare. 1901 census.

I have his wife  Anne crossing the Atlantic to New York in Oct 1907.

The record is smudged so I can't tell f she is a widow or still married.

But Edward is not with her. Did he die in Wales or did he go ahead to Ohio.

Can anyone find him ???

Thanks
MLR

How I worked it out was in two parts.  First Ann has a relative in the country she came from called Ellen Barclay. Ellen was my great grandmother.  Second if you look at the relationship on the left hand side  the scribble shows Miriam as Ann, s daughter.  The status could be married or widowed it is smudged I have enlarged it and looked at it through a magnifying glass and  I can't decide.
