Can anyone identify Mongoldram Farm, Arbuthnott, where my greatgrandfather, James McFarlane, was attached in 1881?

Thank you.

Hi Jim,

Couldn't find Mongoldram Farm, but there is a Montgoldrum Farm, Arbuthnott, Laurencekirk, Kincardine.  Probably the same place?

Go to Old Maps, type in Arbuthnott and you will find it.

Regards,
Dorothy

Yes, thanks, Dorothy,

I'm sure that's right.

Hi Jim,

Just joined this website. My gt grandfather William Beattie died at Burnside of Montgoldrum in 1884. He came from St Cyrus and is buried there. I have been unable to make the connection with Montgoldrum other than as a seasonal worker. Any idea?
