Hi my great grandfather was Alfred George Walker married to Lillian wright  from Wynbunbry we are the Northwich branch of the family . My grandfather was Jack Walker

You aqsk why the family moved to Stockport! In fact they moved to 126 Acre Lane Cheadle Hulme ( about 3 miles from Stockport a terraced cottage still standing)  per 1911. At the time this would be on a par with Wybunbury open fields / market gardens pretty rural

Soem of my family from Shavington also moved to S|tockportt around the same time so I can oly assume it  was for the jobs
