Lots of old seafaring families in that list Nick(my particular interest) The Tuskar View bit lists I think ,the last of the Lamberts to live in the area .Simon Lambert was a boat builder who's boatyard was where the present (new) Tuskar View houses are .He built the original Tuskar View opposite and was one of the directors of the old Gannet Fishing Company.I think he had a hand in building Lambert Terrace or Lambert Place too.One or the other.

BTW Nickr ,Thanks for including a photo of a small bit of my family home, The Cottage Maudlintown, in your latest excellent book "Remembering Wexford "(page 83) .It just shows the gable end and my grandfather's workshop, he was a hurley maker. Not a lot but it's the only photo I've ever seen of it .

Thanks very much for this information. Seamus' mother was a Redmond from Wexford town  and moved to Belfast around 1900. I am trying to get the connection between the Redmonds and the bar in William street. Seamus thinks they were his cousins.

Alice Lambert - Tusker View
N Lambert - S.Main St
C Lambert - Wolf Tone Villas

Dalton: Wexford Town/Ireland
Curran: Ballyvaloo/Blackwater/Co Wexford/Ireland
Clowery/Farrell: Wexford Town/Ireland

Shortman: Bristol/Westbury-on-Trym/Manchester
Trull: Uley/Dursley/Glos
Cross: Dursley/Glos
Hazard: Bristol/Manchester

There were a few Fen(e)lon families in the Maudlintown area. I think that they were all related and are the same family as Ben Fenlon ,mentioned above.so far as I know. I would really like to see a photo of Ben Fenlon.Ben was a very well known local character . Perhaps Nickr could delve into his collection?.
