Using the 1901 Census of Court St as my guide i went to Family Search and using a 3 year guide either side of the childrens ages and without using a county the following came up,unfortunately Mary being a common name i got three hits 1872 1874 and 1876 Enniscorthy,Elllen i could not find but the rest pan out as follows all registered Enniscorthy District
Margaret ,Jan March 1883 vol 4 page 690
Joseph July Sep 1884 vol 4 page 602
Laurence July Sep 1885 vol 4 page 595
Martin  July Sep 1886 vol 4 page 545
Charles Jan March 1889 vol 4 page 597.

If you are happy this is the right family when you get Mary's marriage cert which will give her fathers name only,you could get one of the sons birth certs which will give mothers maiden name and you can take your search further from there.

I have been away and just come back to find this wealth of new information about my Grand parents, the Sohans. Thank you so much for the replies, I am very excited to have more now to look into. All I had was the 1901 and 1911 censes. I will send away for their marriage certificate which should give me more information about their parents.

It was wonderful to find information about the school in Clonroche as she was living in 47 Clonroche in 1901 so that was almost certainly the school she taught at. Definitely on my visit list in May.
