Edward Roworth, Heaton 1880
« on: Friday 05 December 14 11:55 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for information regarding Edward Roworth b. 1880. Heaton? His family believed to have had a book shop in Manchester but not too sure on this. Edward emigrated back to South Africa after the Boer War where he became a renowned artist.

Probate record for Thomas Roworth  :)
The will of Thomas Roworth of Fern Lea Princess Road Heaton Norris and of 21 St Ann's Sq Manchester, Bookseller, was proved by Arthur Hewitt Roworth of 21 St Ann's Sq, son and one of the executors.
Personal Estate was under £3000 and he died 13 Jan 1881.
There is a mention of Thomas in the book,  Reminiscences of Manchester fifty years ago (1881) but as far as I could see it just confirms his name and the address of the bookshop as 21 St Ann's Sq.
