Hope I haven't given you too much there, if you need any more please ask. Oh, and it looks as if the grandson David mentioned in an earlier post who reported his death was illegitimate, but definitely wasn't living at home in the 1881 census although his mother was.Was it common practice for a male member of the family to report deaths around that time, or might it mean that his mother had moved away, or even passed on herself? I can see this may become a full time job!
