William Timms b. 1815 Tetsworth

Forgive me please if this has already been posted by someone but the 'Search' feature is not working.
Does anyone have info on the parents of the William Timms (1815-1899) who married Susanna(h) Hounslow? William was a blacksmith as were many of his descendants. The census says he was born in Tetsworth. Someone posted on the Long Crendon website that there is a picture of him in the Churchill Arms there. His son Herbert did live there.
Any help appreciated!

Maybe you could try for his marriage to Susanna in 1840 and that should give you his fathers name and occupation and if he was still living

Hi i have look on the parish record for st Giles Tetsworth  The only bapts for a William Timms or Tims is

    William Herbert 1905
     William 1807

Hi

Tetsworth was a chapelry of Thame until 1841 so it might be worth looking at the Thame registers

     Only 1 bapts
     1st April  1842 Timms Fanny d of William and Susan  of Crandon Blacksmith
      1 marriage
      20th Oct 1842  Claydon Thoma o t p
                             Timms Mary of Tetsworth
       Wits Susan Claydon and Thomas Hunt
       Will  have another look later today for you  Sandy
