van Wyk's in Belfast
« on: Monday 20 October 14 08:53 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a cousin of my father, Ignatius Daniel van Wyk he was born and live on a farm near Soffberg. His parents were Alexander Daniel Ross van Wyk and Emma. He had a sister Emma who they called Empy.
Ignatius first worked as a telephonist at the post office in Stoffberg, then as a telephonist at Belfast were he got married. He was known as Naas.
I have no date's at all for him or even know if he was the eldest. I do know he was younger than my Dad who was born in 1923.

I am Linda Botha from Middelburg Mpumalanga in South Africa.  My mother is Empy van Wyk, the sister of Ignatius Daniel van Wyk, known as Naas van Wyk.  He sadly passed away some time ago.
I would like to share information with you!!!!

Kind regards
Linda Botha (*)
