Charlotte Ecklin or Echlin and John Otterson, around 1850 - 1855. Possibly in Newtownards area.
John is listed in Griffith's Valuation as leasing plots of land in Donaghadee and Carrowdore.

Ros Davies Co Down website has  OUGHTERSON in nearby Ballywalter in the 1692-1777 periods   .   
and only a few other entries relevant for example is William OTTERSON a nephew joining the police.

Auterson could be another alternative. Bearing in mind the time frame you are searching, there is very little information available.

The daughter of Robert Otterson was listed on the birth registration in Gateshead Dec 1884 as Charlotte ACKLIN Otterson

Civil registration of non-Catholic marriages began in 1845 and Catholic marriages from 1864. The online civil registration index (www.familysearch.org) will give you index details needed to order a certificate.

In addition there are several pay sites but they usually don't give the full details on the actual certificate.

Joe. There are a number of Echlin and Otterson marriages on GRONI online from 1845 on. Not the one you are looking for so probably they married outside N Ireland.
For £2 you can buy credits which will allow you to view the basic info which shows spouse's surname.
You will have to spend £2 to view the actual certificate which can be downloaded to your computer for printing.
Very worth while if you find what you are looking for.

Simply set up an account with  a minimum of 40 pence and all searches are free with a cost of £2 to see the actual certificate. Easy to use and lots of information available on free search.

Just have to add that GRONI online is the best thing that has happened for me in my family searching.
The cost has been relatively small for all the info and copy documents I got.
