Hello Deb. I am wondering if you have gotten any further with your Lillies/Simpson connection. They are my great great grandparents, but have not got any further information on them. If you have succeeded, would love to hear from you.

Hello,

I know this might be a little dated, but I just stumbled across these messages today.

Elizabeth (Eliza) was a younger sister of John Simpson (my 2nd Great Grandfather) who married Maria Goulding. Interestingly enough my Great Grandfather was named John Lillies Simpson. I was curious about that and dug deeper and found the connection to the Lillies. 1852 Census of Canada records record the families on the same page. They must have lived near each other.

I too have an interest in knowing more about our ancestors and how they came to live in Ballysadare, Sligo, Ireland.
