George Alfred Betteridge Haines c1837

I am trying to find information on my relation Anne Derry b.1835 Stratford upon Avon.


I know she married George Alfred Betteridge Haines b.c1837 Stow on the Wold on 5/11/1859 at Holy Trinity,Stratford on Avon.

In 1861 they are living in Friar St,Warwick with their daughter Anna.

In 1871 He is in Milton under Wychwood with Annie born Statford on Avon.Surname spelt Harries

In 1881 George is living at Milton under Wychwood with an Annie born Lichfield,Staffs. and 6 children.As Anne died and George as remarried an Annie or is it the same person.There is no sign of their daughter Anna Selina the daughter from 1861.

In 1891 cant find George unless spelt wrongly somewhere.


In 1901 George is with Annie from Lichfield with a son Tom living in Stratford.

Where is he in 1891 can anyone find him please.Billy

This looks like George in 91:
RG12/1178/147/14
The age is out but the rest looks pretty much like him.
I would say the same Annie,the childrens ages seem to bear this out as there are no significant gaps.

That looks like him which means his wife is somewhere else because they are together again in 1901.
I have found most of the children in 1891 in Stratford on Avon,Georgina and Mary are in London,.The only ones missing are Alfred c1868 and Adelaide c1876. maybe they are with her somewhere.

Adelaide married William Loach 1893 in Snitterfield and died 1961 in Hatton Warwick, do you know what relationship she has with Doris Anne Elizabeth Wallace?
