Maudlin St Kilkenny

Looking for any relations of Patrick Kehoe born about 1838 maybe Kilkenny my grandfather Martin was his son very little information on him Martin was the only child of the marriage the only address was 4 Maudlin Street  he went to England 1878 about  died 1930.

Any idea when Martin was born? What age was given at his death.
Do you know his mother's name?

This would be better on the Kilkenny board, think you slipped up when clicking on Kilkenny, Laois is right next to it on the list, you can ask a Mod to move it by using Report to Moderator.

Martin died in December 1930 buried in Ford cemetery age 70  Liverpool was associated with the Irish Hibernians in what capacity I don't no ,told he was a Irish speaker  .Mothers first name Anne surname unknown .
Martin came to Liverpool age 14 who with no idea

That would put his birth c1860 so before Civil Registration therefore you need a baptism but Patrick and Anne is a fairly common combination and you don't have Anne's maiden name, it's not going to be easy, and the same problem for finding a marriage for Patrick and Anne.

You need to comb through the England Records some more to see if you can find any more clues.

Kehoe surname try Keogh when looking for any records


The Marriage cert should give a clue on occupation

Has anyone researching this family gotten the ACTUAL marriage record as opposed to the church record for Martin in order to get an occupation for Patrick.

Also, an you say where the mother's name of Anne was gotten from >
