wardlaw and moodies in scotland area

Iam trying to find any more Moodie moody s in Scotland that are connected to robert Moodie /moody 1740 - 1795 he married ann wardlaw 1740 he died in Walls Shetland and I can't trace my tree anymore I have come up to a brick wall in walls

can anyone help I know that the name changed in the cense from Moodie to moody maybe it changes again to Mudie can any one help

They then lived in inverkeving coline and Bathgate and London Middlesex

So any info on the moodies from those areas descending from the robert moodie who die in walls would be fantastic thank you

as Iam trying to do the family tree for my mother who is a survivor of double breast cancer and won't to give it to her for her eightieth I don't even know if robert had any brothers or sisters Iam a direct descendent from his line any help would be realy helpfull as Iam new to all of this and not good with modern technology and highly dislexic many many thanks for help

How did you confirm that Robert was your line?

When and where did he marry Ann?

Who were their children?

I have all wedding certificates apart from robert moodie 1740 the info a friend got for me from scotish records but all the other info is correct but I don't know any more and more would be wonderful

I don't have there death certificates only marriage certificates I can't afford those yet so thought marriage certificates the best option for now and means I can hopefully go back further but as I said Iam now stuck at robert moodie and anne wardlaw I know he was born in fife Dunfermline but he died in Walls Shetlands I have no other info so I can't go back any further as I have said  :'(

You really need the post 1855 death certificates to confirm their parentage. OPR marriage records will not confirm parents names.

How did you confirm the Robert Moodie who died 1795 was married to Anne Wardlaw and that he was born in Fife?
