electoral roll 1960-70

would anyone be able to check the 1960-70 electoral roll for dunoon for a john kelly, i know he was living in cowal place dunoon in 1970 as that is when he died, i am trying to find out if anyone else lived with him. thanks  catherine.

Trolling through the posts and have just found yours. The only John Kelly I knew was a merchant seaman who lived in Alfred Street in Dunoon with family when he was not at sea. I didn't know him well, he was more a friend of a friend and that friend is now gone. I think the house where he stayed was marked for demolition and the family he stayed with were moving away so he got a house in Cowal Place which was being built in 1969-70.

Hi yes that's the same john Kelly,would you know what family he lived with, did you ever remember a Helen mcgreary I think she lived with him not sure.

I only remember the surname of the family and that was Blackburn. As far as I know he lived alone after he moved.

I meant to ask you ,did you ever hear any mention of johns mum, can't find her death anywhere in Scotland,the reason I mentioned Helen mcgreary is that john left Helen everything he had to her in his will,which wasn't v,,ery much ,just wondered who she was.thanks for the info you have gave me.
