Andrew Goodall (Goodale) b1811 North Berwick Haddingtonshire

I am trying to find connections (mother, father siblings) of Andrew Goodall (maybe spelled Goodale) b 1812 in North Berwick Haddingtonshire. He married Agnes Hastie b 1807 in Inveresk Midlothian and they had 6 children Helen b 1838, Robert b 1839, Jane b 1841, Peter b 1845, Andrew B 1849, Mary b 1850.

this shows Andrew's parish as South Leith and Agnes as North Berwick.

Hi stu02,

I have found Andrew with Agnes in the 1841 and 1851 census, in the 51, he gives age as 40, Agnes as 44. I have also found a birth on SP and FreeReg, 15 Jul 1810 for an Andrew to parents Robert Goodal(l) and Meney Wilson. On FreeReg, an older sister to Andrew, Jean was born 11 Oct 1808, bapt 16 Oct, father Robert was a quarrier.

Andrew died somewhere between the 1851 and 1861 census, I have searched SP from 1855 to 1861 and cannot find death registered there, so I suspect he died between 1851 and start of official registration in 1855. I did find a death on SP before 1855, 19 Jul 1854 at St Cuthberts, Edinburgh certificate 685/02 0520 0173, but this would need to be downloaded to prove.
