I asked how confident you were about the date of birth.  If 1898 is not set in stone then have a look at this William John Balfour in the 1901 census (born about 1891) who may be the same person recorded as William John McAfee in the 1911 census:

Well there's no Religion mentioned, just looking for a Baptism in some church.. I posted ALL the Wm McAfees in ALL Ireland on 1901 and 1911 Censii.

All the poster was searching for was the birth place and possible parents (which they still seek)...the birth/baptism in 1898 of one William Mcafee and his parents, believed to be of Cty Fermanagh, if he's in Ireland in 1901 then is he on Census link posted?

One could waste hours looking at RC baptisms and be wasting time if he was Presbyterian, or C of I etc etc

was he married, if not a letter would have been sent to his parents about his death. Was there any death notices saying son of or husband off?
