« on: Monday 21 July 14 21:26 BST (UK) »
i found this photo that i will try to attach to this message. it's an old truck with a sign on the front that reads Arthur J W Stutt. i believe it to be the Arthur Stutt from Killyfole Co. Fermanagh but would like to confirm. I haven't been able to find an Arthur JW Stutt in records. all help welcomed.

Hi,
The following might be worth bearing in mind - 18 July 1922 Arthur Stutt married Margaret Dawson in Aghadrumsee Church of Ireland, Clones, Co. Fermanagh. Killyfole is also in the parish of Clones.

my thanks to all 3 of you. great work. and i've heard from a 4th person who knew of him and says although his name was Arthur he was called Archie. is that fairly common? i've heard of people named John but called Ian...and other such naming tricks but is it common for Arthurs to be called Archies?

If same family, looks like Arthur's father was called Archibald:

Perhaps Arthur was also an Archibald and to save confusion, used 'Arthur'? Perhaps the 'J W' was a carry-over from an earlier generation of the business?

Hi,
Arthur had a brother James W. I wonder if that might be connected.
