Dunstone/Dunston/Dunstan
« on: Sunday 30 March 14 05:44 BST (UK) »
I'm a new member to Rootschat so please bear with me.
I am searching for other members who are interested in the above family names.
I know it is a broad request but I need to start somewhere.
The spelling variations have led me to begin compiling a One Name Family Tree.
If you or know of someone who shares an interest then please contact me.
Due to the regulations on this site which state:
"New members must make at least three postings before being allowed to use the PM facility.
Please note: If you are sending PMs to new members who have less than three posts you will receive an error message, that your limit, or allowed number has been reached. (note that it says your limit, although it actually refers to the recipient.)"
I will post 2 more times so that you can contact me.
                                                         Thanks                  Howard

Welcome to RootsChat! ;D

If you look at the bottom of any RootsChat page you will see a black section.
On there, under "Your Tools" you will see "Surname Interests".

Clicking on that will take you to the Surnames Interest Table (SIT).

Do a Quick Search, then Initial Letter "D", and look for your surnames - that will give you a list of people interested in your surnames.

And, of course, you can add your own interests to the SIT! ;D

KGarrad; Thanks for the heads up !!
I didn't look at the bottom of the page as usually that is where the boring fine print can be found, stuff like terms of use etc.  :P
I will look more closely in future. Can't see it at the bottom SIT's page on the  Reference Library Page,  ??? so I'll have to watch them all more closely until I get the hang of it.
Sandra; yeah I did that to qualify for the 3 posts rule so people could contact me.
                   cheers              ;D

No problem - but its best to link all your posts to avoid any time wasting and duplication. Unfortunately I never noticed KGarrad reply to you here until after I had answered on the USA board.

Highlight the URL of the post you want to link to (eg. your old post)

"Copy & paste" it into the new post
