Maybe the child was poorly as the date of baptism is nearly 3 months after the birth,Munster St is in Phibsborough and i think the penitentiary is nearby,may have been used for convienience sake.

Yes this could have been the reason - some of the family thought it meant her mother may well have been in the Penitentiary but I did find a number of other births of non inmates so, possibly convenience was the go.
