the 396719 number is in the number block for Royal Anglesey, Royal Engineers.(RARE)


His number would be 6719 before the whole Territorials were renumbered early 1917.

did not know that gwil cheers ,
i know the army numbering system during ww1 was a nightmare with some men sharing the same number ,(as ive had trouble tracing my grandfather from ) his number
