Thomas and Anne MARTIN of Down

Here's a list of children of Thomas and Anne MARTIN gleaned from an FHS microfilm of the church registers of Downpatrick Parish Church of Ireland including Saul. I am reasonably sure that they are all from the same family, but would like someone to confirm if possible.
Further information about Thomas and Anne such as residence, birthplace, Anne's maiden name would be very much appreciated.

Hi Carl,
Ballykillbeg townland is about 3.8 miles sw of Downpatrick, ie about an hour and 15 minutes walk, a lot quicker by horse. Downpatrick, travelling SW from Downpatrick in the civil parish of Down
There might be mention of Martins in http://www.proni.gov.uk/introduction__johnston_of_ballykilbeg_papers_d880.pdf
or even in the building of B House see
The Building of Ballykilbeg House, Co. Down, 1790-2

Article Stable URL: http://www.jstor.org/stable/20627385 t

It is possible he became a churchwarden when old eg Thomas   MARTIN   .   Down   a churchwarden for Downpatrick Church of Ireland in 1832   DAIPC p15 see Ros Davies Co Down website on ancestry .com
Could Thomas’s father have been a flax grower or weaver in 1796 http://www.failteromhat.com/flax/down.php
Martin,William  Down  Down Sadly the townland isn’t mentioned., but might in the original if existant

The united Irishmen must have effected the neighbourhood  within 50 years you have the politician Wm Johhston of Ballykilbeg  His father was your landlord, and its among his sons papers might be kept alist of tenants names and payments etc up yo say 1811
Good luck JimG

Hi Carl
Ros Davies Co Down website has much on the Martins of Down parish , Co Down see http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/her website is not for commercial use. here are four suggestions to learn more about
Miss   Bella   MARTIN   .   Down   married James Harvey 2 Feb 1823 at Downpatrick Church of Ireland   PR
Miss   Jane   MARTIN   .   Down   married Alexander Rea 5 Nov 1827 at Downpatrick Church of Ireland   PR
Miss   Sarah   MARTIN   .   Down   married Robert Kirkwood 13 Sep 1828 at Downpatrick Church of Ireland   PR
Robert   MARTIN   .   Down   married Martha M'dill c. 1820; father of Ellen who married William Carlisle 19 Jan 1859 at Infimary Street Presbyterian Church, Downpatrick & Joseph & William who all left for New Zealand   PR; Michelle Rowe
Any one of these marriages might have more detail, who were parents, or witnesses etc

Griffiths  valuation see www. askaboutireland.com shows there are no Martins living in Ballykilbeg in the 1860s
If the line stayed they might have moved into Downpatrick itself. There are no Rea or Harvey in the parish, but there are Kirkwoods living in Woodgrange
good luck onwards
