Hi Brenda,
here are some sites which may help you:

1901 Leitrim Roscommon has a fully transcribed index for Mayo: http://www.leitrim-roscommon.com/1901census/census.shtml
there is a widow Honoria here living in Toocananagh - wonder if that is the same place?

Griffiths Valuation which was a land valuation around 1850s has an index at :
http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php

and what is perhaps more exciting: http://www.connorsgenealogy.net/Mayo/#church
has several Killgallan births to check which might fit. I can't see a suitable marriage though in Bohola parish.

You should be able to get a birth certificate for Thomas from the Irish Records Office

best wishes
Kath

Hi Brenda

I have a Mary Ann Kilgallon (born about 1877 in Toocananagh - Father Darby Killgallon and Mother Mary Roach) she married (23/07/1908) a William O'Hora born 1868 in Toocananagh.

They had three children William; Mary Catherine and John Patrick - I believe they may have ended up in Canada at some point as John Patrick died there in 1999.  I don't really have a lot of information but if this fits in with you please contact me
Regards
Michelle

My Kilgallons from Toughnane are so far:
Darby Kilgallon and Mary Roache
Anne Kilgallon and Patrick Bourke
Bridget Bourke and Walter Wascher ( my great grand parents )

Anyone know Darby's father and mother? I am wanting to go back even further but have it a brick wall. Thanks.
