Birthplace

A friend of mine is looking to confirm exactly where her birthplace was. 
She has the cert which gives address 20 smq Craighiehall South Queensferry West Lothian.
We don't know what the smq stands for but she believes it could have been barracks of some kind as father was in the royal artillery.
Any information gratefully received.

The link to no 20 comes up with 20 Riverside Road - do you think this is the same address as 20 smq?

The map link in the Canmore page (see my second reply) gives the married quarters as Riverside Road.
