i hope your research goes well......     the merryweather surname appears all over Wiltshire....   but in a lot of cases is spelt Meriwether or a form of variant.........      the resources posts, freebmduk, wiltshire bmd, freecen , familysearch.org , british history online, british newspaper archive ( Devizes Gazette) will be very helpful for you as well as Wiltshire County Council for probates.
Your surname goes back many centuries and have stumbled upon it many a time through the various parish records...
