Hi,

I have some Tooheys in my history.  Michael Hanrahan (my grandfather) was a tinsmith.  I have a hammered copper tea set he made.  He married Margaret Toohey?  Possibly the daugther of Michael Toohey?  I visited in the '70s and they still lived in Silver Street.  Didn't get much info but did meet my great grandmother who was in her 90's at the time.  I don't remember if she was a Toohey or a Hanrahan. A Toohey, I think.
Somewhere along the line, a Toohey married a Hanrahan as that was my mother's maiden name.
Any information will be appreciated.
Mother desterted us in 1962.

I know there were at least five sisters with the maiden name of Hanrahan,
The familiy moved to the Wolverhampton area in GB.
Their mother was a Toohey (sp?) and their father a Hanrahan

Bridget - moved to Canada - dead - my mother
Eileen - moved to Canada - dead
Margaret- moved to Canada - still alive but I don't want anything to do with them.  Long story.
Rita - stayed in GB - don't know if she is still alive or married name
Connie - stayed in GB - married a fellow named Steve ????.  I don't know married name or if
she is still alive.
