The marriage in Nottingham appears to be a Florence that was born in Nottingham, I think her name was Florence Emily Lygo if I remember correctly...as seen below

According to FreeBMD a Florence E. Lygo married Oct./Dec.1926 Nottingham district (volume 7b page 808) James H. Wilde

If your Florence Lygo married it might be the one that occurred in 1935 Hendon R.D to Alfred W Kettle and it appears possible that they had 3 children in 1937/1939/1940.....I wouldn't have thought that a Kettle/Lygo combination would be a common one.

The first one born Colin Alfred Kettle born 7th Jan 1937 Barnet R.D appears to have died in July (registered) 1985 Redbridge R.D, Essex

The second one marries in 1959 and has 3 boys born 63/64 and 79 dare one say that one wasn't planned then again perhaps he was?

The third one marries in 1965 and has 3 children in 1965/1966 and 1972

so you have plenty to work with Carl...happy hunting but remember you need to confirm the 1935 marriage of Florence to Alfred Kettle before you do anything because if that isn't right then none of the "modern" info is

How does it show they are married? Is Florence listed as Florence Lines formerly Lygo?

the 3children is correct, colion, brenda & michael. walter died when colin was 7 we were told, that would make it 1944 in a car crash, again thats what we were told.
having done an extensive family tree, it appears that my nan florence lied about things.

I know this an old post but thought I’d add.
James Henry Lygo is my 3rd grt uncle. I descend from his brother Alfred Lygo who was born 1854 Marston upon dove/Hilton, Derbyshire. Parents Edward Lygo and Lucy Foard. The Lygo family originally come from the villages of Marston upon dove and Sutton on the Hill, Derbyshire. Edward went to Leicester after his first wife died and remarried to Lucy.
My grt nan was Winifred Lygo born Leicester 1919.
