where was "trinity place" in bath please?
« on: Saturday 18 October 14 07:51 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm researching Sarah Collier who was born in Bath in 1825. I have found her on the 1841 census living at Trinity Place in Bath, but this does not seem to come up on any modern maps. Does anybody familiar with Bath know where Trinity Place might have been?
Many thanks

The Old Maps site shows Trinity Place as a side alley off James Street on the opposite side from Green Park Station http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html

Kay

Edit -It shows best on the 1886 Town Map

Tried googling it, as suggested by " fastfusion" - then click on maps - nothing happens. Doesn't bring it up I'm afraid. I did try all this before posting my request!!!
Thank you Kay 99 for your reply.

Thanks very much. I take it this place doesn't exist any more or has changed its name which is why I couldn't find it in the first place.
